The latest installment of hipknits project club also came, silk to make a short sleeved fairisle cardi. This is the first top down cardi I have tried, and the first time knitting with silk. You can see my progress in the bottom right of the picture

Wow, you got your cardi!!!! I am SO envious....I am totally fed up waiting for mine...I have been crocheting hexagons for a (someday!) blanket, and started the 10 stitch blanket from the knitting and crochet guild mag...have socks on the go...and still I'm itching to get my mitts on the HipKnits cardi...(maybe Kerrie is punishing me for NOT knitting socks for the last project?) I quite fancy knitting a CPH at some point. I havnt knitted with silk yet. I have quite a lot of it in my stash and some to home dye.
